4200 WASHINGTON

4200 Washington is a highly sustainable, extremely transit oriented, five-story mixed-income and mixed-use community with 31 homes above five commercial businesses including the Rozzie Square Theater. The development team is partnering with local MWBE businesses to redevelop a vibrant corner of Roslindale Square, redevelopming a community theater in the process.

 

The proposed community is extremely transit oriented. 4200 Washington Street is in the heart of Roslindale Village, just two short blocks to the Roslindale Village MBTA Commuter Rail Station, with a walk score of 96, “Walker’s Paradise.” There are abundant buses available including routes: 14, 30, 34, 34E, 35, 36. 37. 40, 50, and 51 and the area is extremely accessible by bike. The community will be a highly sustainable Enterprise Green certified, solar ready, zero energy building with dedicated EV parking.

 

4200 Washington utilizes State and Federal 9% tax credits, State soft debt, and MOH, CPA, and NHT funding from the City of Boston.
